Bono Hitchhikes With NHL Player [VIDEO]

How lucky would you be to pick up a hitchhiker than would turn out to be a rock star? While in Vancouver on U2’s 360 tour, Bono and his assistant went for a walk on what seemed to be a nice day, before a quick storm took them by surprise. Luckily for Bono, Gilbert Brule of the Edmonton Oilers and his girlfriend were driving by. And wouldn’t you know it’s the lead singer of U2 standing there in the rain. In exchange for the ride, Bono hooked them up with tickets and backstage passes for their show in Edmonton. And he evens shares the story with the Edmonton audience.
