The Boeing 787 has been years in the making, but it is finally here.  This jet marks the future of commercial flying as the material that it is made of is a carbon fiber instead of the regular aluminum, which makes it much lighter and therefore much more fuel efficient.

Everything about this new plane is a completely different flying experience.  Yahoo reports that the cabin will be pressurized to 6,000 feet instead of 8,000 like on a normal plane.  This will be more what people are use to on the ground.  The seats also look to be more luxurious than that of a normal plane, and they have increased the size of the over head storage units.

The first 787 is set for a flights out of Tokyo, Japan as part of the Nippon Airways.  Boeing hopes to have 25 of the expected 30 of these Jets ready to go this year and they expected to go for near $200 million.
