Black Veil Brides won the Golden God Award for "Best Song of the Year" beating out the likes of Halestorm and In This Moment. When the band came on stage after Sebastian Bach's introduction, they were greeted with boos all around from the mostly "heavy metal" audience.

The band didn't take too kindly to those boos and went right into bashing the crowd. They even proclaimed to one audience member how they "have a song on the radio and all you have is a fat ass".
