One month after announcing the departure of guitarist Nick Catanese, Black Label Society have revealed his replacement, Dario Lorina of the band Lizzy Borden.

On Dec. 2, Black Label Society, led by the legendary Zakk Wylde, released a statement that they had "amicably parted ways" with longtime guitarist Nick Catanese. After a monthlong search for a new axeman, the band announced on New Year's Day that they'd found their man in Dario Lorina.

In a Facebook post, BLS writes, "BERZERKERS! Happy New Year! Please welcome Dario Lorina as the new rhythm guitar player for BLS! Thanks to all of you that submitted videos and demos. There are some really great guitar players out there!"

Meanwhile, Lizzy Borden, frontman of the band of the same name, congratulated Lorina on his new position: "It's been an amazing ride performing all around the world with Dario. He is a true professional and an incredible blues-driven artistic guitarist, adding so much to the Borden sound. Personally, it was a privilege for me to have him on my left side for the last four years and I know Zakk, his band and their fans are going to love Dario, as we all do. Dario will be missed in the Borden camp but he will always be one of us and we wish him all the luck in the world."

For his part, Lorina states, "I'm excited to officially announce that i've joined Zakk Wylde in Black Label Society. I'd like to extend a sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone for your continued support and warm welcome, It truly means the world."

Right now, BLS have no tour dates scheduled, but you can be sure the band will be out on the road in support of its upcoming album, which is tentatively due in April.
