Tom Brady threw three touchdown passes in leading the New England Patriots to a 34-3 rout of the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, clinching the top seed throughout the AFC playoffs.

The easy win over the Bills clinched the AFC East title for the Patriots (13-2) and gave them a 15th consecutive victory over Buffalo (4-11) dating to 2003. New England is now 20-1 in its past 21 meetings with the Bills.

Two of Brady's TD passes went to rookie tight end Rob Gronkowski. Alge Crumpler and Danny Woodhead also scored in helping New England extend its winning streak to seven in a row.

Brady finished 15-of-27 passing for 140 yards and set the NFL record for most attempts (319) without an interception. He topped the mark set by Bernie Kosar in the 1990 and '91 seasons.
