Big Night In Albany [Video]

With Lynyrd Skynyrd playing with ZZ Top and Dave Attell in town, you can’t say there’s nothing to do tonight.

 Skynyrd and ZZ Top are at the Times Union Center of course, and Dave Attell is over at the Egg for an 8pm show. Q103 has the official pre-show party for the Skynyrd/ZZ show at Savanah’s from 5:00-6:30p and they have a great band they brought in from Rochester called “Something Else” performing there too. They’ll be playing before and after the concert and they really are something else as you can hear them anything from Billy Joel to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. But hey, if you’re going to the Dave Attell show you can still make Savanah’s you’re pre or post party destination.

 I’ve never seen ZZ Top or Skynyrd before, and as much as I’d love to see Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill spin those guitars around and I wouldn’t mind hearing a few tunes from Lynyrd Skynyrd, I’m going to see Dave Attell because tonight because I want to laugh!
