It was quite the success story when Bethlehem's James Charles was the first ever male to be on the cover of Covergirl. Now this happened.

The statement he made that spurred all of the backlash on twitter was this..

"I can't believe we're going to Africa today omg what if we get Ebola. James we're fine we could've gotten it at chipotle last year...," he wrote. - TIMES UNION

Now, I see two issues there one the obvious and the other, is he talking to himself in writing? Sure seems like it right? Either way making a comment about Africa and Ebola is uncalled for and Covergirl made a comment about the issue.

James Charles' tweet does not represent COVERGIRL's perspective. We agree his statements were inappropriate but appreciate that he has issued an apology." -TIMESUNION

His apology,

"I feel awful for posting what I said. ... I look forward to exploring the country and learning much more about the country and learning much more about the people and culture, because clearly I know very little and have a lot to learn." - TIMES UNION

His initial tweet has since been deleted. However he is garnering some hate with comments back from people saying they will not rest until he loses his endorsements. What say you? Do you think what is happening to him is fair?
