‘Battleship’ Trailer Hits Web [VIDEO]

Yesterday the official trailer for the upcoming 2012 movie Battleship appeared online.  The movie which is based on the classic board game, doesn't really seem to have much to do with it though.

I think the only thing that this movie has in common with the game Battleship, is that fact that it takes place on Battleships. It stars Liam Neeson, which is always enough to get me to the movies.  It also stars the smokin' hot Brooklyn Decker and True Bloods Alexander Skarsgard.

The movie itself looks pretty good.  I just don't understand what it has to do with the game.  It's battleships battling each other, they are fighting aliens.  I don't really remember aliens in the game, but maybe I missed something.  The fact is I am going to see this movie just because I'll be curious to see exactly how it plays out on screen.  The trailer makes it seem interesting enough.  What do you think?
