What makes it even worse is that it happened right in front of his son. I’m not sure if I’m more shocked that this happened, or that I haven’t heard of this happening more often with so many crazed fans out there willing to jump over almost anything just to try and catch a foul ball sometimes. They say he fell about twenty feet and landed on his head. He didn’t die immediately, but did pass on within the hour at a local hospital. Well my suggestion is that if you took the time to read this, that perhaps you could take a minute and say a prayer for that guy’s family and especially his son who saw this tragic event first hand.
