As all of America celebrated the birth of our nation, a bank was being robbed without anyone knowing. Gothamist.com reports on how someone used the Independence Day fireworks as a distraction to burgle the Popular Community Bank on the Lower East Side of New York City.

The unidentified criminals cut through the roof of the bank. Everyone knows when you cut through a roof, it tends to make a lot of noise.
