The J-Pop/Metal Girl Group's second full-length album Metal Resistance debuts worldwide on April 1st, and on April 5th BabyMetal will be special guests on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

They opened for Lady Gaga and have performed on the same stage as Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth.

True Metalheads hate them, but geeks and nerds love them, their biggest American fans probably live in their parent's basement.

How should we feel about BabyMetal?

The girls did not know what Metal music was until they formed in 2010, but in their defense the oldest member Suzuka Nakamoto is only 18 (yes, she's legal.) Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi are both 16, that means that these 3 girls discovered Metal before they were teenagers, when did you discover Metal?

The conflict within he Metal community regarding BabyMetal is that you should not mix little girls with Metal, or that there is no such thing as a combination of Pop and Metal because the Pop influence cancels out the Metal.

In my opinion: An attempt to combine Pop and Metal is inevitable and I'm glad that it's these 3 doing it rather then Miley Cyrus, or even worse Taylor Swift.

I am not ashamed to admit that I am a fan of BabyMetal and I would love to see them at Rock'n Derby.
