I am not really sure where to start...I have been spinning Rock music on the Capital region airwaves for a long time now...and I was a DJ on Q-103...long before it was even called Q-103!
South African band Seether will be releasing a new album on May 17. The album will be titled "Holding On To Strings Better Left To Fray". Two days later, Q103 will be presenting Seether in concert at Northern Lights.
One day in May, 1983, I was on the air at rock station WBLM in Portland, Me. The station's Program Director walked in to the studio with the owner of a local music/electronics supply shop and told me that he was going to test out some new technology on the air. They than proceeded to hook up a Compact Disc Player and started to track Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of The Moon" on the air.
For the past few months, the members of Soundgarden have been spending time together, jamming , writing new material and pretty much trying to jump start Soundgarden again.
