The Christmas comedy 'Elf' is about one of Santa's little helpers who learns that he is really human and then leaves the North Pole to seek out his birth family.
The film starred the long-limbed cut-up Will Ferrell as the "elf" in question, and became a huge holiday hit in 2003. 'Elf' also featured an all-star assortment of supporting actors and familiar faces. You can check out what the cast of 'Elf' is up to these days below.
Valeria Lukyanova's deliberately plastic looks have garnered her fame and notoriety as the "Human Barbie." But while the 24-year-old with the bleach blonde hair and the impossibly thin waist really stands out, she's not unique.
On the White House's website there is a "We The People" section, which allows citizens to "petition the Obama Administration to take action on a range of important issues facing our country." If any submitted petition gets 25,000 E-signatures, then the White House will review the proposal.
Our favorite of these petitions this month has to be from Colorado man “John D" who, as we reported last week, wants the government to secure resources and funding to begin the construction of a Death Star by 2016.
Donald Albritton's marriage was going through a rough patch, so he turned to his ex-girlfriend for help. The catch is Megan White, the 35-year old's former-flame, didn't exactly get a say in the matter...
When Chris Burd was 13-years-old he went to the mall in Maplewood, Minn during Christmas time. He was with his three-year-old sister, and to appease her he also sat on the lap of the mall's Santa Claus and asked for gifts.
Fast forward 13 years. Chris had recently become engaged when he got a call from his mother who tells him she had made an interesting discovery while going through a batch of old pictures.
George Johannesen is very much alive. Which is why it was so surprising when the Canadian man received a letter addressed "To the Estate of George Johannesen." Even more surprising is that it came from his insurance company, who should really be on top of such things.
After robbing a bank, most criminals will try to lay low for a period of time. Not 19-year-old Hannah Sabata. The Stromsburg, Nebraska teen wanted to get credit for her ability to knock over a local bank for over $6,000 and also make off with a Pontiac Grand Am that didn't belong to her.
Then: In 2003's 'Bad Santa,' Brett Kelly played Thurman Merman, aka, "The Kid." The Kid befriends Billy Bob Thornton's title character, first suffering from his misanthropic nature but eventually softening the heart of the cynical St. Nick. It was the biggest role to date for the-then 10-year-old from Canada, who had made his movie debut as another character called "Kid" in the 2001 thriller 'Kill Me Later.'
