We love finding retro stuff that is just nothing short of ridiculous. No idea why this says Dick Sargent on it, but it was an ad for Post Grape-Nuts that appeared in the 1958 issue of LIFE Magazine.
Whatever - doesn't matter where it came from, we need you to caption it. GO!
Admit it - you've looked at those handicapped spots in the parking lot on a hot or cold day with a slight feeling of envy. Let's face it - we'd all love to have one of those spots BUT they do serve a purpose and are there for those who really need them. Of all people you'd think an employee at the NY Department of Health would have a special understanding of that. Nope - not the case.
It wasn't a good idea to drink and drive in the first place, but doing it again, after being arrested is especially not wise. Showing up to a court mandated DWI panel drunk? Are you kidding? A guy in Westerlo did just that - and the first hint that he was drunk? He was swerving into the court parking lot.
It's true - there is a bacon shortage on the way at least in England where they are already facing a shortage of pork due to a dry summer and a lack of grains to use for feed. Will this problem reach us in the United States?
Second City has been around since 1959 and is one of the first improvisational theater troupes in the nation. It's well known as a breeding ground for future comedy superstars, and more or less directly feeds new talent to SNL. Her
While everyone is entitled to their opinion, a lot of people are not receiving what Mitt Romney really thinks very well. Monday (9/17) MotherJones released a secretly recorded video at a fundraiser attended by millionaires in which Romney said some pretty awful things about low income Americans. Today the full video was released, in two parts, and there were some even more shocking things said.
You may have heard that there was a 700 pound pig wandering near Northway Exit 11. You also may have thought that Kirstie Alley was visiting the area. Only the first part is correct. State Police have estimated the weight of the pig and they believe it wandered away from a nearby farm.
Back in the day there was no such thing as Photoshop because computers were as big as a room and their main function was adding two plus two. Pin-up girls were not just an artists imagination or fantasies though - they were based on photographs of real models, and then drawn into the iconic images we fondly remembrer today.
This has to be one of the most cruel stories we're ever seen - and just leaves us at a loss for words. Three puppies, less than a month old, were found nailed to the railroad tracks in Albany. The three puppies are a pit bull mix and were found on Saturday between North Pearl and Broadway.
The Albany area and surrounding areas are being hammered by some severe weather. There are several severe thunderstorm warnings right now and a tornado watch as well. We'll keep you updated on-air and online with alerts and other information. Click 'read more' for the latest details.
Generally when I visit a relative in the nursing home, I'm not thinking of how to find a babe. Apparently a man named Wally thinks differently. Police arrested Wally after he was caught making out with and groping a 98 year old woman at a nursing home. Wally didn't have any relatives at the home either - he was just using it more like a twisted strip club.
Our own Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (and local MILF) appeared on the Daily Show and was interviewed by Jon Stewart. The show's broadcast was pushed later than usual, as President Bill Clinton's speech at the DNC lasted around 50 minutes. Besides being a vocal supporter of women's rights, Sen. Gillibrand also is pretty badass too - remember the controversy when she revealed that she keeps two riffles under her bed? Check out the interview after the jump.
