'Trick shot half quarter flip pops': Is that a trick? When I was a kid I was all about skating. I couldn't do tricks but I could ride a skateboard pretty well. Yep, I wasn't the adventurous type when it came to trying to jump my board over things. For that- I look to the sky like a rapper and thank the man above for granting me the ability to not break my neck. It's super easy to forget how awesome we had it growing up in the 80's and 90's. We had everything right? From little pieces of plastic that insert into a light up box, action figures with very small pieces to toy guns without the little orange tips. I remember the day like it was yesterday. I was driving home with my six yr. old son when out of no where he decides he wants to belt out a Justin Bieber song. While I'm all about my kid having fun, singing along to music and eating chicken nuggets: him learning Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and Metallica would make me all wet and creamy inside.
