I noticed this over the weekend and was like: 'hey, that looks familiar'. Then of course, I saw a CDTA bus and was like: 'I definitely live under a rock'. McDonald's filmed a commercial on the streets of Albany and I feel like I'm the only one who was kept in the dark.
That is the question of the day, week and season. The weather around here has been less than delightful and extremely frightful. With ridiculous snow and cold temps since Thanksgiving everyone wants to know: When the hell is it going to warm up?
For the record this has nothing to do with Israel or parkour but everything to do with sandals. My little brother is all about this sport, running and jumping about the Albany area. You'll probably see him this summer jumping and diving all over the Empire State Plaza. But never in sandals, never in sandals.
'Daddy, watch me' are three of my favorite words. When my kid drops those three words I know something is either going to be awesome or will cause me to say 'shake it off buddy, you're going to be fine' to him as he does something painful.
Albany area roadways have taken a beating this winter and so have our cars. Mother Nature hates us, I'm telling you! It seems like there are massive potholes on every single road. They are everywhere and they are huge.
I guess the better question to ask is: Why does it seem like every car in Russia is equipped with a dash-cam? I have to be honest, the answer is not surprising at all. And yes, maybe I'm the only asking it, but, I'm asking and here's the answer.
Warm weather will be in full effect very soon and with warmth comes awesome outdoor fun, like swimming. Whether it be lakes, pools or the ocean we will be out there showing off our ability to swim like champions. Unfortunately, some of us aren't as great in the water as we would like to think. Thank god for life guards!
As I was heading into work today, I had to make a pit stop at Walmart on Washington Avenue Ext. I guess Styles just had to have his 'hand cream' for his 'dry hands' delivered to him at work. Why he wouldn't go home and enjoy a 'relaxing' lunch break baffles me!? Moving on.
I have to admit: I'm a fan of curling. Seriously! Sitting up at all hours of the night watching chicks slide behind, whatever that thing they're sliding behind is, drinking tons of cold ones thinking: Someone has spent years and years and years perfecting the art of brooming an ice lane while someone slides behind like some sort of graceful swan. Curling, man, curling.
