‘Austin Powers 4′ On The Way

It has been a while since Mike Meyers put on the thick glasses, leisure suit and gotten his "shag" on, but it looks like he is getting set to reprise his role as British super spy Austin Powers for a fourth time.

The formula in Hollywood seems to be that if you don't come up with something new why not take something old and beat it to death.  That's what Mike Meyers is planning to as he returns to his character Austin Powers.  The last time we saw Powers on film was in 2002 in the third movie Goldmember.

No details have emerged yet as to a story line or a supporting cast, but Meyers is on board.  It's no surprise that Meyers would go back to the familiar character since his last try and a character in a movie, The Love Guru, landed him a Razzie for worst actor.  I'm not sure how a new 'Powers' film will do in this age, but I think that it might be the right time for it.  I could be wrong too, because the last one didn't do all that well compared to the others.
