Nine Inch Nails are the masters of the roll out, keeping fans on their toes over the years with a variety of ways in which they release music. So it may be a good time if you're a Nine Inch Nails fan to prepare for something coming this week.

In a new tweet, Trent Reznor offered "Next Week" without any sort of context. You can check out the tweet below. However, there is plenty of reason to suspect that the tweet is in reference to a new EP.

Back in early June, Nine Inch Nails offered an email to fans apologizing for a delay in delivery of the vinyl editions of their Not the Actual Events EP that was released right before the end of 2016. But somewhat buried toward the end of the note was the revelation that Not the Actual Events was the first in a trilogy of EPs with the second installment expected before the first shows the band was planning for the summer.

Time is winding down on that window as the band's headlining set at the FYF Fest in Los Angeles takes place July 23, meaning that a new EP arriving this coming week would fall within the time frame of Reznor's statement. The third EP is expected to arrive "6-8 months" after the second installment.

So, Nine Inch Nails fans, keep an eye out and see what the band has in store for this coming week.
