We're back with another edition of the Arcade Spotlight! This time we're traveling to the unknown town of El Cerrito in sunny southern California. Let's check it out!

Playland Not-at-the-Beach (yep, weird name), is a 9,000 square foot building filled with pinball machines, arcade games, penny arcade machines, carnival games, dioramas, hand-carved miniature circuses and historic exhibits. It's a giant playground for kids and adults who want to remember the good old days. They're also the only place (that they know of) that has two Laughing Sals, a rarity in amusement attractions.

Playland has over 30 pinball machines, all set to free play. In fact, with the exception of a few attractions, everything is set on free play. Admission is $15 for adults, youths and seniors are $10. Not bad for those of you with nothing to do on the weekend since that's the only time they're open.

Some of the pins they have housed in their four different pinball areas are: Monster Bash, Scared Stiff, Haunted House, Cirqus Voltaire, Lord of the Rings and more. They also have pins from the '40s like Cinderella, a six flipper pinball machine. They even have a group of Fascination games!

Check out pics of this cool arcade/museum and tell 'em Arcade Sushi sent ya!
