It seems as though Finnish rock quartet Apocalyptica have been somewhat dormant ever since 2010's ultra successful '7th Symphony,' but perhaps they were just going "underground" for a bit to regroup after a lot of touring to come up with some new material. That new material has arrived and their newest song "Psalm" can be heard after the jump.

Not only can you hear the new song, you can also see the accompanying music video which was produced by the band's own Paavo Lötjönen and taped at Sibelius Academy in Finland.

For the first time in its career, Apocalyptica will go on tour with a classical orchestra. The collaboration with the prestigious Finnish Avanti! Orchestra will feature instrumentally performed Apocalyptica songs, specially arranged for the band, and the 25-piece orchestra. The long-cherished project will be premiering live in Finland in March 2014. Following the shows in Finland, the tour will proceed to Russia, Germany, Poland, Belarus and the Baltic states.

What do you think of the new song?
