In case you were unaware Anthrax isn't Joey Belladonna's only gig. This Saturday he brings his side project Chief Big Way to the Capital Region.

We are all probably most familiar with Joey Belladonna through his work as the front man for Anthrax (which I thank him for every day). What you may not know is that Joey has himself a nice little side project that he has been playing with over the last few years.

It's called Chief Big Way and it is actually a classic rock cover band in which Joey plays drums and sings some of his favorite rock tunes from the likes of "AC/DC, Journey, and Skynard". The band has actually been around for a few years but most of their gig's were performed mainly in Central New York were Joey has a home.

I got to see them a few times when I lived in CNY and I have to be honest when I say that I was a little thrown back at first because seeing a rock god behind the kit at your local bar tends to have that effect on you. However, once you get past the initial shock and stop fan girling out they are a whole lot of fun!

Looks like Joey and Chief Big Way have decided to venture out of CNY and are playing a show here in the Capital Region this Saturday! If you want to check them out they are going to be playing at Chrome Food & Spirits at 405 Hudson River Rd. in Waterford Saturday night! Doors are at 7pm show starts at 8pm you can get tickets for $15 at the door. If you want more details you can find them all HERE.
