Update: Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian has tweeted a couple of comments addressing the quotes attributed to Charlie Benante in a recent interview, letting fans know they shouldn't worry and that more albums will be coming. See his tweets below:

Anthrax received positive reviews for Worship Music and continue to ride an upward swing in their career with the For All Kings album, but what does the future hold?

Speaking with eonmusic, drummer Charlie Benante discussed the possibility that their current disc could be their last. Explaining that the pressure is on after the last two albums, he explained, "I don't even know if there will be another record, is all I can tell you. This may be our last record -- I'd rather go out on a high."

However, the drummer stopped short of saying that the end of their recording career would be the end of Anthrax. "I didn't say we'd wrap it up," stated the drummer. "I just said it may be our last record. That's how I feel."

He continued, "You know, certain sports teams will have the greatest team one year, then come back next year and a lot of those players are missing -- they suck. I'm not saying any of us will be missing, but maybe I think that inspiration may not be there, so let's enjoy it."

Worship Music found the band reuniting with former vocalist Joey Belladonna, albeit after the writing for the disc was complete. But with For All Kings, Belladonna was present with the other members from the start of sessions to the finish. The album debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart, selling 34,000 copies in its first week.
