I don’t really know what’s going on in Billy Corgan’s head, but do I really need to know what’s happening in there? Probably not, it’s just seems a little weird that he’s been releasing all these songs one at a time and it seems that he allows them to be downloaded for free. Maybe he thinks most people out there are stealing it anyway so what’s the difference? Maybe he’s been smart with all the money he’s made and doesn’t care if makes another penny. What I do know is that he’s given up on the traditional cd of 12 songs with a cover and case, temporarily at least.

Today the Smashing Pumpkins release the 9th of what’s to be 44 singles from the piece of work they refer to as Teargarden By Kaleidyscope. This one is called ‘Lightning Strikes’ and is free to listen to by clicking on the link.

But seriously, if anyone knows how Corgan and Co. are making any money off all this please make a comment. I’m curious.
