Well this sounds a bit different ...

If you are a die hard Nirvana fan you may remember the song 'Marigold' that was released as the B-Side to "Heart Shaped Box". Well, today Alternative Nation got a hold of an alternate version of the song that includes Kera Schaley on the cello.

According to Consequence of Sound 'Marigold' was actually written by Dave Grohl for his solo project "Pocketwatch" but was later re recorded during the In Utero sessions. Dave actually rocks the vocals for this one and according to the man himself apparently Kurt Cobain sings the low harmony (although you can barley hear it so it's hard to tell for sure).

You can hear the original version on the box set "With the Lights Out" but you can hear the alternate version here now! Personally I can't really decide which version I prefer but I always tend to gear toward the originals (but who really know which is the originally with these two)?!? Go ahead and push play and decide for yourself!
