In the song "Show Me a Leader," Alter Bridge make a plea for a new voice to lead us all. But could that voice actually be them? In the band's brand new video for "Show Me a Leader," they certainly have the attention of the world as they perform the track.

Director Zev Deans came up with the concept for the clip, which centers on the band's performance in animated form as they play from an ominous looking stage hovering over the masses below. Meanwhile their sounds ring out over the crowd and clash with some of the competing voices broadcast by suited political figures with megaphones for heads. It's a very stylish looking video that gets the point across.

"Show Me a Leader" is the lead single from the band's fifth studio album, The Last Hero. The Michael "Elvis" Baskette-produced album will be released by Caroline Records on Oct. 7 in the U.S. and Canada and via Napalm Records in the rest of the world. Pre-orders for the album are currently underway at Amazon, iTunes and GooglePlay and you can also place an order for one of the band's fan bundles here.

Having spent the summer on tour with Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin and Saint Asonia, Alter Bridge will kick off a headlining tour in September that includes a handful of festival appearances as well. See dates for the run below.
