Ever since Alt-J won the coveted Mercury Prize for their debut album, 'An Awesome Wave,' in 2012, the British trio has been building buzz. After a two-year wait, they're getting ready to release their much-anticipated follow-up album.

'This Is All Yours' will be out on Sept. 22. And they've just unveiled the first track from the record, 'Hunger of the Pine.' You can listen to it below.

The song is darker and mustier than the relatively brighter songs found on 'An Awesome Wave.' It's missing a melodic hook to draw you in, but after a couple listens, the skittering electronics and digital crests wash over you. Sorta like their debut album did.

And yes, that's Miley Cyrus sampled in the "I'm a female rebel" line, which comes from her song '4x4.'
