Albany’s Brown Derby Restaurant Is Closing Up Shop

Hey Brown Derby, if Jillian's jumped off a bridge would you do it too? The almost four year old restaurant is following Jillian's by also closing this month.

The people of the Albany area must not enjoy downtown as much as they use too. Earlier this year the area lost a diner staple in the Miss Albany Diner, then later this month Jillian's closed it's doors. Now, one of the City's fine dining establishments will be saying goodbye.

It almost made it four years, but the Brown Derby will be shutting down on August 25th. The owner told the Times Union that they never really met their financial goals, and it became a financial burden to their family.
