Albany Teen Saves Man From Drowning In Lake George
A 16-year-old Albany teen is being credited with saving a man's life on Monday in Lake George.
82-year-old George Gates is said to have fallen off rocks along the eastern shore of Lake George in Dresden near Bluff’s Head Road.
16-year-old Max Ceroski was nearby where Gates fell and heard people calling for help. The teen ran over to where everyone was gathered and saw Gates' head underwater. Max jumped in to retrieve Gates. After getting the man on the shore, Max performed first aid until volunteer firefighters arrived to administer CPR.
Gates was taken to Glens Falls Hospital after being revived and claiming to have chest pains. No word on the updated condition of Gates as the time of this posting.
