Capital Region foodies unite!

This weekend kicks off the start of Downtown Albany Restaurant Week where over a dozen downtown restaurants will be participating and offering restaurant week menus with several three course options for just $20.16.

It's the perfect opportunity for those who are looking to try out something new or something local or for those who, like me, lack the domestic skills to cook for yourself. Plus since I'm still fairly new to the area I'm pretty excited to get out and see what the neighborhood has to offer while tasting some delicious eats and not having to break the bank! I'm going to attempt to try out a couple places over the next week and I'll share my experiences in case your on the fence about a certain place. Below is a list of restaurants that will be participating in restaurant week this week.

  • Aji Steak Stone & Sushi
  • Ama Cocina
  • C.H. Evans Brewing at The Albany Pump Station
  • Cafe Capriccio
  • The Capital Lounge
  • Charter at the Hilton
  • City Beer Hall
  • Dawn's Victory Sports Cafe
  • The Hollow Bar + Kitchen
  • Hudson Harbor Steak & Seafood
  • Jack's Oyster House
  • La Serre
  • The Merry Monk
  • Olde English Pub and Pantry

  • Public House 42
