A City of Albany man has been arrested on drug charges, and the accusations are stinky.

According to the Times Union, troopers pulled over Aaron L. Hightower on the Northway this past Friday for traffic violations. While in custody in Queensbury at the police barracks, he pulled a bag of cocaine out of his buttocks and attempted to eat it along with a bag of marijuana that was stuffed in his groin.

Hightower, who was arraigned and sent to Warren County jail without bail, now faces a laundry list of charges. Charges include possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon (police found brass knuckles during the traffic stop), tampering with evidence, and resisting arrest. He also faces charges for the marijuana possession.

We've all heard the phrase "desperate times call for desperate measures," but this one takes the cake. Come to think of it, a piece of cake would probably have been more appetizing for Mr. Hightower rather than the cocaine and marijuana.
