Albany County Sheriff Shows Support For Proposed Casino

Capital Gaming LLC, the people behind "Project E23" announced today they are proud to have the support from Sheriff Craig Apple. "Project E23" is the name of the proposal to bring a casino to Albany. 

In a letter to Capital Gaming LLC wrote "after carefully evaluating Capital Gaming LLC proposal" "I came away very impressed." Capital Gaming LLC pointed out that from the beginning  that "from the start our goal is to earn the support from the public."

Sheriff Apple says that he is always interested in projects that could potentially impact the quality of life of the residents the office serves. So with his support of "Project E23," Sheriff Apple feels that the created jobs and revenue created by a casino will out weigh any potential negative issues that surround a casino.
