Albany Ben & Jerry’s Re-Opens In New Spot On Madison

It's really only a couple blocks away from the stores prior location.

At the beginning of 2016 Ben & Jerry's on Lark St. in downtown Albany closed for the season and after having some issues trying to get some repairs done to their space because of a dispute with the owner of an adjacent building over access to the back of the building it looked like they would be closed for good.

I guess in a way they kind of were. Ben & Jerry's which was located on Lark St. and had been in the neighborhood for 30 years re-opened for the spring/summer season but in a different location. The new spot is actually just a few blocks over but is now on Madison instead of Lark in between El Loco and Washington Park.

While they are still in the process of putting the finishing touches on the new spot the store is open and scooping ice cream! According to All Over Albany you can get your scoops between noon and 11pm daily and I guess there is a grand opening celebration of some sort expected in the near future!
