After Aerosmith and the Global Warming tour blew into Albany and rocked the Times Union Center on Friday night, doctors have ordered Steven Tyler to provide vocal rest.   Aerosmith notified fans via facebook that they were postponing the show in Bristow Va tonight until August 12th.   No word on whether any other dates will be postponed.  The next scheduled date is Thursday in Detroit.

In other Aerosmith news, the band announced last week that they are pushing back the release date of their new album 'Music From Another Dimension' from August 28th to November 6th.

Steven Tyler said on a recent radio interveiw in Cleveland

Too many people are releasing  those weeks , we don't wanna step on their release dates. So we just said, 'You know what?! We've got the goods… ain't no doubt about it. We'll wait another couple of months

We saw a hell of show here in Albany! Thats for sure.
