Accident In Albany Leaves One In Critical Condition [VIDEO]

A late morning accident, Wednesday (7-16) in Albany, leaves one woman in critical condition this morning.

The accident happened at Sheridan Avenue and Chapel Street  around 11:40 am.

Police say a 82-year-old woman hit an unoccupied FedEx truck then hit a light pole before coming to rest in the middle of the busy downtown intersection

Owner of the Victory Cafe, who's security cameras caught the entire accident on tape, described the accident as "incredible", adding, "even though I looked at in slow motion, it looked like it was in fast motion she was going so fast. There’s that metal frame on the bottom that they stand on – on the bottom of the FedEx truck – that sliced the car like Swiss cheese.”
