Days are counting down fast to the Q103 Thanksgiving Hangover, November 26th 7pm at the Washington Avenue Armory.   Staind is the headliner, special guests include Egypt Central and  local band Pipe Bomb.   Egypt Central was part of the Q103 Q-Ruption show at SPAC this past summer and since then the band has been quite busy.   Drummer Blake Allison took a few minutes to tell us what has been happening.

Egypt Central hails from Memphis Tennessee and features newlywed John Falls on lead vocals, Jeff James on lead guitar, Joey Chicago on Bass and Blake Allison on the drums. The Band has a top 20 rock record with 'White Rabbit' and currently has a track out on rock radio called 'Kick Ass'.  Both songs can be heard on Q103.

You've had a few months to recover from the Q103 Q-Ruption, how did you like being a part of the show?

What has Egpyt Central been up to since Q-Ruption?

We're going to recreate the magic with the Q103 Thanksgiving Hangover featuring Staind.  Have you seen Staind before?

Your new single is called 'Kick Ass' and was picked up by many NFL teams to use during games.  Can you tell us how that happened?

For those of us who might have missed you perform at Q-Ruption, can you describe a typical Egypt Central performance?

We can't wait to see you in Albany for the Q103 Thanksgiving Hangover.  Since it's around Thanksgiving are you a dark or white meat guy?
