Today is an historic day in America, because on this day in 1983, the greatest movie ever premiered in Cleveland.

I can't remember the first time I saw "A Christmas Story" but I always remember feeling a strange, grim, connection with the movie, because I could relate to the it.

Parents and siblings, screaming and crying, getting beat up, getting yelled at by adults at the mall, fear....

I grew up on "A Christmas Story" every December, and then I drove myself crazy with it, I watch it as many times as possible from the day after Thanksgiving, until Christmas Day.

My personal record is 81, I watched "A Christmas Story" 81 times in 29 days, and every year I try to break my record.

Now I think I am afraid of this movie, because it's no longer a choice to watch it, I just have to...
