See Shakes-BEER with Nine Pin Cider and the Collar City Players: Reading of Macbeth

This is sure to be a unique, spook-tastic experience. The Collar City Players are making a special stop in Albany to perform a creepy reading of Shakespeare's "Macbeth." And, there will be Nine Pin. In fact, it's taking place at Nine Pin's taproom in Albany.

Go on the Capitol Haunting Tour

Take a Trip to Howe Caverns

What's creepier than a dark, damp, dreary cave? Nothin'- that's why Howe Caverns is on our fall bucket list. Around Halloween, Howe Caverns gives haunted candlelight tours of the grounds. The tour guides may even be in old-time-y garb to really set the mood. This sounds super fun and definitely spooky!

Partake in the Scaredy Cats and Dogs Pet Costume Contest

If you're a single adult who loves your pet enough to enter them into a Halloween costume contest, don't be ashamed. There are many of us. You can dress up your pet or dress up with your pet. Either way, there are plenty of prizes to be awarded.

Go on a Haunted Stockade Tour

The Stockade is arguably the most haunted place in the Capital Region, which makes it the perfect location for a haunted tour. Some of the buildings there date back to the 1700s! Anything that's been around that long has to be haunted, right? The Stockade is so rich with history- it's bound to be a staple on your fall bucket list!

Get Spooked at Liberty Ridge Farm

If you've never been to Liberty Ridge to get your spook on, this is the year to go. It's super fun, and just scary enough. There are tractor rides, animals, food & drinks, and plenty of haunted things- from corn fields, to forts, to woods and houses. There's also a warm fire pit, a sandbox filled with corn (sounds weird but don't knock it 'til you sit in it), and a fun slide!
