5 NY Beers to Check Out At Saratoga Beer Week
Saratoga Beer week is coming Feb. 16-20 and the 5th Annual Saratoga Beer Summit is on Feb. 20 at The Saratoga City Center.
The list of beers is from over 27 different breweries in America! Friday night also features ciders from numerous breweries in America. To get you in the mood for Beer Week, here is a sneak peek of five of the breweries from upstate New York and one of their famous beers.
Bear Naked Ale – American Amber Ale ABV: 5.2%
All of Adirondack Brewery’s ales are all natural, using the finest malt, hops and yeast. They don’t contain any preservatives, flavor enhancement of artificial coloring
Hennepin – Farmhouse Saison ABV: 7.7%
Hennepin is a hearty and rustic golden ale. It is hoppy and crisp.
Legacy IPA ABV 6.5%
A beer with a light color that has lighter malts to let the hop flavor come through.
Black IPA – Black Indian Pale Ale ABV 6.5%
Black IPA is dry hopped with Amarillo and Citra. It has a citrusy flavor.
Flower Power IPA ABV: 7.5%
Flower Power is a soothing beer with a finish of pineapple and grapefruit. It is hopped and dry-hopped five times throughout the brewing process
