You're already halfway through October so it's time to get in the Halloween mood!  Looking for something fun to do this weekend?  Well, there's a TON of options in the Capital Region.  Here's 5 I picked, from my own experience, and from the amazing calendar of events at Albany.com!

    Field of Horrors

Head to the 'Field of Horrors' in Troy!  I went for 'Sneak Peak' weekend and had an absolute blast.  With four different haunted houses and a scary ride, it was totally worth it.  Honestly, I would go again.  It was like a hometown 'Lost Boys' vibe meets legit haunted houses.  Get more info here!

    Double M Haunted Hayride

You can never go wrong getting in the Halloween mood with a haunted hayride, through woods on a tractor drawn wagon.  This one happens to be in Ballston Spa.  Get more info here!

    Ghosts of Albany Walking Tour

If you're not a hayride person, you don't like gore or fake blood, go for a haunted tour! Albany has so much history, with ghost stories and spook factor included.  So maybe avoid the fake blood and get yourself scared with a good ghost story and some sight-seeing.  Get more info here!

    Haunted Saratoga Ghost Tours

Up north instead of in downtown Albany? No worries! There's a ghost tour for you too!  Check out the Haunted Saratoga Ghost Tours.  It's a 90 minute walking tour all about Saratoga and the spirits that haunt it.  In an area with a ton of history like Saratoga, I don't doubt they exist.  Get more info here!
