#4 of Rock Girl Tatiana’s ‘Top 5 Live’ of 2016

Another day, another announcement for Rock Girl Tatiana's "Top 5 Live."  To start off the list yesterday, I had Blink 182/ A Day to Remember / All Time Low at #5.  It was tough to place, but what put this next show at #4 wasn't just the amazing reunion of a performance, but also my experience accidentally making fun of drummer Aaron Gillespie backstage (oops!).   To finish that story- as I was hanging out backstage by all the equipment trailers, I struck up a conversation with a guy wearing a cutoff denim vest and beanie.  I look at him and go "sweet Batman pin dude", pointing at a  tiny pin on his vest. 'Um. Thanks. I forgot I had that on' he responded shortly after someone called him away.  Immediately after that, a was notified that i had just been talking to Aaron Gillespie [Underoath, Paramore]. Clearly with the beanie and minus the long hair, I didn't even recognize him, despite the amount of times I've watched Underoath's bonus DVD for "Define The Great Line."

For my ridiculous foot-in-my-mouth moment, getting to meet Aaron Gillespie, and getting to see Underoath perform live, I'm placing Underoath's performance at the  "So What" Music Festival at #4!

These guys recently announced a RIDICULOUSLY awesome 2017 tour with Beartooth and Bring Me The Horizon (one of my all time favorite bands), and hopefully I'll get to check them out live again next year.  Check out some photos from the show below:
