Canada better start preparing now for the sick and twisted music festival that will be invading Toronto, Ontario on August 11 and 12 of this year. The Heavy T.O. Festival will be taking place at Toronto's Downsview Park, and will feature over a dozen metal bands from around the world. The main headliners have just been announced, as well as the confirmed opening acts thus far. Read on to find out who will be performing.

The festival will be taking place over two days and will have a main headliner for both days: Slipknot will head on Saturday, August 11, and System of a Down will head on Sunday, August 12. The supporting acts are as follows, while more could still be added as it draws nearer:

Saturday, August 11:

SLIPKNOT
MARILYN MANSON
LAMB OF GOD
SUICIDAL TENDENCIES
GOJIRA
OVERKILL
HIGH ON
FIRE
PROTEST THE HERO

Sunday, August 12:

SYSTEM OF A DOWN
FIVE
FINGER DEATH PUNCH
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE
CANNIBAL CORPSE
KATAKLYSM
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME
VEIL OF MAYA
JOB FOR A COWBOY
GOATWHORE
THE FACELESS
PERIPHERY
EXHUMED

So far, the line-up is insanely sick- I just wish I could go!

Tickets can be purchased here, and are priced as the following:

Tickets for the Toronto festival are $145 for the weekend; $155 for a "special edition ticket" and $500 for the Live Nation Lounge Platinum Weekend Pass (inc. private bar, restrooms, complimentary food and parking, bleacher seating with premium views of both stages, and more).
